What Our Residents Are Saying

“This program prepared me by providing adequate guidance in different specialties to help me be more well-rounded. Having support from mentors while transitioning into a new role was very helpful. Being in the program with other new nurse practitioners was helpful as well, as we could relate to each other and help each other navigate the new role of being an advanced practice provider.”

“My first year as a nurse practitioner was during the COVID19 pandemic. I was very close with my NP Residency class at Cahaba, and we leaned on each other so much during that year. I needed the extra support, and I'm so thankful my first year was spent receiving extra excellent training at Cahaba Medical Care!”

"The Cahaba Nurse Practitioner Residency was the bridge I needed between my education and real-world practice. It didn't just sharpen my clinical skills; it taught me the heart of compassionate care for vulnerable populations. I walked away with the confidence to handle complex cases and a deep commitment to serving those who need help the most. I use the lessons I learned during residency every single day."
